water like glass and throttles 80% open.....coffee..sarny...lads are talkin the 3 F's on the deck.....tyin up...cracks great..... a bit on Motown and Northern on, while ya lookin across those clocks at the temps and pressures
boat gently gliding and following the big dipper lazy swells, into the sun.....
plotters getting scanned on the way out, trying to change your mind as you look at it..shall we try here or shall we try there...or
....tempted to stop as your on a wreck a mile away and your screemin to get in the water...
na, straight past then onto your mark, then its a , "we should have had a couple of drops back there man....."
look at the deck, and you need Ray Bann shades on, EVERY fckin colour shad and sidewinder there is......, its like the kalaidescope of latex..................jiggers all trebled up, some with top hook on...strings of hokkais and daylights ready..squid in the bucket, slices of last years macky in the bucket, prawn packets open and at the ready...
boat still gliding through the gentle glassy swells, the wake lovely white and sharp..leaving ya trail for a mile or so........

then your there, trottle off, henjin just ticking over... dead slow ahead, heading at crawlin speed into your mark to get her on the screen.......missed it..BASTA....back round...got it !!....enginge stop....a little back throttle, right on her...screemin RIGHT O LADS and down they go....clear water glttering with the fluro colours charging unto war....
first one down..bang...fish on, then the rest follow trying to get that lead down at fcukin deepdive speeds unknown to man...then they start .. ..
