    I bought some Dynon 55lb last week ,I used it last year as well but it got snagged on the bottom of the boat and I lost most of it ,cracking stuff though.
    You can take the lad out of Walker but .......

      Yeah Mark, dead right there, generally snaps at the top of your rig so you even get the clip and swivel back.
      To be honest I dont think I`ve bought any braid now for a couple of years and thats 3 reels full with a spare spool just in case, so it does last well.

        the reel I have with 80lb dyneema on has had the same link tied on the end for 3 years now! must of been through dozens and ozens of rigs with it!, at 80lb if the snagss a good un, slows the drift enough to lock the clutch and drop another line over the side till it breaks - who needs an anchor!

                    the dyneema I use came from spotty dog in hartlepool, was 50 quid if I remember rightly, but that was for 1000metres of the stuff

                      I just found Dynon on ebay 18.50 for 300 yards for all breaking strains.
