  • Uptiding on sea-otter 2 thursday and saturday

With the wrecking being rubbish of late due to the very murky water over the last few days uptiding has been my target as the best bet some boats decided to go wrecking yesterday but returned home due to the poor weather a fresh southeast is not good .

Thursday i had ian colemans team on from grismby they had cracking day and yesterdays lads were all splits from all over but it was local lad perry franklin who showed the rest of lads how to on he had every bait known to man and did it pay off.

It wasnt long one of the lads was into a fish.

Dave is ready with the net.

A nice plump cod for one of the lads.

That fish was quickly followed by this one .

then one of the lads got another doggy the 3 rd of the day.

But it was this man ian who just kept getting fish after fish he knew his stuff he had a slow start against the other lads but by goollly did he make up his rod is over it was just one after the other.

    A nice fish or ian.

3 on the belt similar stamp all on squid.

All in all a first time to whitby they are allready itching for more they cant belive what they have been missing.

Yesterday With the forcast being very iffy today the only option today was the uptiding and it was local man perry frankland which showed the lads just how to catch cod at ankhor perry had all baits known to man with him and it all paid off fishing wasnt easy and all the lads got fish but perry won the sweep and ended up with a nice bag of cod.
I had to pull out all the stops today for the lads but it all ended up well.

Regular matt from york gets his first cod .

    Matts mate soon followed

    The perry started his run.

    Then came another.

Regualar man mike edge also got in on the action.

Regular man paul wasnt far behind.

This man wasnt going to be left out,

Perry just kept taking fish after fish.

    And another.

At the end of the day he ended up taking the sweep and going home nice bag of cod.

    paul.

Cracking report Paul and a great read. Well done to Perry with a fine bag of fish, and well done to all the other anglers. Well done Paul finding them all fish.

1st time uptiding for young perry he fished very well more eastery winds this week the wrecking job looks on hold for a couple more weeks need some settled weather to get the clarity back its one of those winters looks like its going to be very end of month before we see any rise in temperature and southwesterly winds.

            paul.
