With Norman calling the season forward potentially by a couple of weeks I thought with almost spring like weather about today I'd better make a move in getting inside the shed...

Multi pronged attack really to :

    A) ascertain the state of the shore gear in readiness for the summer months (washed waders which are leaking in the foot in preparation for a repair job and rinsed/lubed up the multipliers)

    B) figure out if I really need to buy a new spinning rod and reel? (jury still out on that one. Head says no - Heart says yes )

    C) take a look at the boat box and general stocks of hooks, line, swivels etc...all main zips shot but no great shakes

    D) tidy the shed in order of preference - so boaty stuff to the fore

Tomorrows job is actually sort the box....tiny tiny steps as they say

...wonder if I should buy some shads
    Ooh a new vid!

      Tony

I too have been preparing for the forthcoming season, this consisted of a brief walk into the garage to see if my box/bag was still where i left it in september, and my rod is still leaning against the wall...

and yes, they are all ready to go..

phil has purchased some very nice rubber fishcatching devices
(of which i'll go halves £)

boat engine services (main and aux ) 17th of this month, wash down and polish soon after....

      install and test electrical equipment....

wait for weather window to match with freedom from graft

catch big (ish ) fish, win march/april comp...and so on...

oh, yes, you should buy new spinning rod..

Ahhh ebay after a drink or two fills up with gear that you never realised you needed until now. The Chinese braid is spot on though.
