      It wont take you long Phil, with the gps systems our days it maks it so easy in finding fishing marks, trick is setting up the drift and so on.

      Look forward to seeing your catch reports when the weather lets everyone get out.

        your not wrong norman, it only takes 2.5 hours marina to marina taking it easy, hartlepool has some great bars and resturants at the marina, i have said for a few years we should all make a weekend of it

                      out yesterday sunday got some nice fish off the border king no fish off outher reck













                      out monday had one fish 6 1/2 pound we where 7 miles off blyth on the recks came in cloce and got f all

                        Last time i fished the border king you could not hit the bottom for 7-9\" long herring, all change now am sure. What was the water colour like that far out? and did you catch/try any fish on pirks/ unbaited lures?

                          ground mainly Rich, with the best around 10lb, Sht Torque been taking up to 100 plus fish.

                                Marks just south of sunderland south pier are my fav marks in the area, found some cracking holes and rough ground (dave mason found them) also some good wrecks.
