  • Monthly Boat Comps 2013...

Is anyone up for a bit of a comp that will be run monthly, for privately owned boats up to, say 6.5 metres, and the crews..
Just a fun thing based on trust for the heaviest fish for each month, from March onwards.....
Dont know if its possible but maybe KeithB could arrange for each months winner to display a gold cup beside his/her avatar for that month..

If anyone has any ideas, put them on here, regarding lists of boat names that want to take part......remember its just a bit of fun.....and the banter should be good....

    I'm in.
Are we going to do grand total for each port.

    Sunderland, amble,Royal quays, Seaham Hartlepool.

That might get the banter going on the pontoons.

It is a good idea lots of boat owners on this site now so should make for a few more posts during the summer.
Not for me but can see it being popular...good luck

I'm in, just as a side interest why not have a fun comp that runs through till end of summer, see who can get heaviest species, pick half a dozen of the most populous species cod, ling, mackeral, whiting etc and see has his name by the specimens by the end of the season.

Sounds great. Can you not let us charter people, who can't afford our own boats, join in the fun? I mean lets face it, I won't catch much anyway!

Il b up for this, how would trailer boats go about it as still not in a mariner, still busy sorting out the boat In between this rubbish weather, picking up my bigger outboard at weekend then b on with electric toys! Sounds good idea this comp tho I must admit
