  • Seaham Marina Mooring..

Got the email this morning saying i had been accepted for the mooring (Been a good lad)..
So i went down and paid up till 31st March when the new marina year starts.
Had a walk round with Norman who runs the marina and is a very helpfull pleasant bloke, he explained about the marina gates and everything else.

I went for a bigger mooring as they have a longer finger and helps when tying off, so for a bit extra cash i got a lot more room.

So The Jester should be in there next weekend after 5 coats of antifoul.....weather permitting.....

Anyone use mooring snubbers on their ropes are they any good

Started the antifoul today, 2 coats of Primocon done and ready for 3 top coats of International Ultra......

Did notice one thing, when the new engine was fitted, they didnt tighten the prop nut and fold the locking tabs over lucky i have only been out once since it was fitted or i would have lost the prop...
