if you want to fish with ian burrett you better book now for next year as he is very busy and most dates are taken up with repeat business from year to year.
been out with him a few times, top bloke who insists on all pollock/tope being handled and returned correctly. The pollock fishing is something else, last time we had over 130 between 3 of us to around 9lb all caught on 8ft spinning rods!
No better skipper over there, lads from Hexham way go out with him and go back year after year, you may have seen some reports in the journal photos etc, tope to 77lb this year. ian is very conservation minded. As somebody has already said you will have to book.

Probably Norman....but from the more comfortable position of a boat and not some stupid effing cliff.
That trip did give me the idea though as I\'m certain that was the boat(s) that was fishing only 200yds from us.
Jeff.
PS...I still haven\'t forgiven Davyred, (Sir Edmund) and the payback plan is still in the R & D stage.
Some people are ungrateful aren\'t they! I take him to a great mark (chaffeur driven as well) thats relatively easy to get to (for a goat), and he\'s starting to plan payback!
Next time, I\'ll take you to the mark I found at Whithorn while I was on holiday....
For those of you who are not aware, Ian is running an E-Mail campain for save our sharks and needs all our help. If you E-mail Ian I am sure he will let you have all the details.
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible,
but P*****g everyone off is a piece of cake.

Try clashwannon caravan Park for the accommodation. It is just on the edge of Drumore where Ian is based. He often goes in for a pint there [£2.20 a pint] The park also does cracking meals as well.
Speak to Martin or louise who own the park and they will fix you up.
Ian has 3 boats and can trailer to which ever side of the Mull is fishing.
There was pollack to 8 lbs and plenty of mackerel weekend just gone, from Port Logan [beach launch].

I didn't go to work today. The voices told me to go fishing!
