You can get all the wrecks know to man round the british isles for not a lot of money its all open to everybody now you can download an app for £12 onto your iphone or tablet i personally use a disc i bought for £29 its has over 600 charts on it with everything on it i have 4 navigators 2 of which are plotters on sea-otter 2 plus a labtop which the disc goes into i love the labtop brilliant large screen no need to buy fancy plotters these days the labtop does the job very well but the ground marks it takes many years of chartering to work out the the hot spots on the gound the ground fishing at times is better than the wreck fishing no gear loss and at times as many fish as you want.

I have downloaded this app and must say it looks the biz but haven't yet tried it out, gives all details about the wrecks, names of wrecks, date went down depth and size of wreck so hopefully it will come to good use come spring

If it works all well and good for £3:99, but will have plotter on boat anyway.

This shows a wreck just out of South Shields pier zoom into wreck and click on the marker and will tell u name of wreck click on to the arrow and gives u all details of wreck personally I think wreck will b handy and I'm wondering if can use ur IPhone to navigate you up to so far out then use fish finder to see the wreck, not sure but will have to find out on next trip out, would recommend this app really to anyone starting off

Does the app leave trails, similar to a chartplotter, so you can back track...

The app just pin points ur current location so when u zoom as close in as I can ul know if ur right near the wreck then I guess it's just a case of finding wreck on fish finder, I know my phone signal is ok til bout 4-5mile off but dnt know if the phone will pick up my gps signal any further something il have to try out
