This app gives you access to over 10,000 wreck locations around the UK - the GPS lat/long data is in Degrees and decimal minutes on the WGS84 datum - standard format for most GPS devices. The wreck data has been provided by the UK Hydrographic Office and some locations may be out of date. If you would like to update wreck spots with more accurate GPS coordinates or have any other ideas, feedback to help improve the app, we’d love to hear from you...

30 years ago you could keep things secret, now all I need is an ipad a finder/plotter and a calm day and I can plot every wreck within 20 miles of amble.
How and when to fish them is a different matter

I was looking at one of the new plotters 3 weeks ago i guy from Blyth asked me for a bit help some of the numbers were quite away out and they dont give info you could travel nine or ten miles to fish a bit of aircraft engine as you say how and when helps most of the inshore stuff within 20 miles gets a hammering anyway. I fished from skinning grove to seahouses most of time first drop was 15 miles off shore people get carried away with wrecks the hard ground just as productive and thats not on plotters

This is true, wasn't trying to get any specific information was just after someone's experienced opinion of the app.
I've been wrecking a few times and my in law has bought a boat for us to fish off of,and it's gonna be a lot of trial and error but is that not all part of the fun.

Would rather spend my time out on a boat than trying to catch the few fish that swim around our shoreline.
In the last year my shore gear has seen the water maybe 10 times.
Roll on decent weather March time

Wouldn't imagine we will go more than 5 miles offshore, we will both need to get used to the boat the first few trips out.
We are just making sure we have all the safety equipment we need and getting boat ready for the start of the season.
