  • Bad post bit .... I`ll try and stay cool

    Typical .................................................. .......
There I was , fishing a wreck 5 miles off and who turns up ........
    two RIB`s
no talk, no communication, no signal, they just throw their marker overboard and prepare to dive .

seen red ? , it was flourescent ............. as you my imagine i had a small (large and loud) amount of verbal exchange .........
so much so that I think I got over the point that I thought they were total to**ers, pure wan*ers, with an intellegence rating of 0.

...................... aaaaaarrrrrrrgggggggggg cant post anymore, blood still boiling...........

    Norman,
Last Friday afternoon me & Ian were fishing Shilelds pier (as were quite a number of others). As we were preparing to leave, a RIB pulled up and achored just off \"the blocks\" and there were several divers preparing to go into the water. Thing is......there must\'ve been about a dozen people fishing the same area - some spinning, others bait fishing.

Where they were going to dive was right where
    a. the bait anglers were casting their bait
    b. those spinning were retrieving their lines through the water.

Didn\'t hang around to see the outcome........lol

Tell me about it Norman, it happened to us 2 weeks running on the same wreck and the same two ribs. Was there a couple of women on board?? It\'s common coutresy to go elswhere if the wreck is being fished, just as we would if they were already diving when we arrived.
We came to the conclusion that was the only wreck they must know.

At one stage 2 of us got snagged on their dan rope, I could feel their lead weight bouncing on the bottom on the strain of my line so we dragged it away from the wreck until our lines snapped off.

Luckily for them Scull wasn\'t on board or it might of been raining sinkers
      Cheers, Keith.

That\'s the wreck Stephen, they obviously don\'t know anywhere else, either that or they think there\'s treasure down there.
            Cheers, Keith.
