Thanks for the heads up Joe, its that time of year when boats are left unchecked for quite a while, and it gives these thieving scumbags the chance to do their dirty work

      Is this near Ardwell Marine?

My boat is not to far away. I'm between Barrhill and Pinwerry.

I've just put CCTV in to watch the boats while I'm away. It's not so expensive now.

Yes mate Ardwell is down the side of the bay the guys that own the site are gutted they do everything they can to help fishing / boating, 13 years they have been there without any bother but this was a big hit, some of the lads have took their boats home for the winter.

They will be n a ferry to Ireland by now.

The farmers had quad bikes nicked all over the south west coast. Some were later found buried in a wagon of potatoes ready to get on a ferry at Stranraer to Belfast.

            Organised crime.

A 115hp engine is a 3 man lift , i think this heist was well planned, so the quad bike theft and this are probably oganised by the same lot of thieving gits.

East europeans. Just do a search on google for "stolen outboard motors". This has been going on since 2008.
