Martin is right Chris, we have got coppercoat on ours and she is guaranteed for ten years, allegedly! The proof will be when she is lifted out for the annual service in Jan/Feb to see exactly how well the coppercoat is performing.
I think Ray has coppercoat on Eleda as well if I am not mistaken?
I thought you just bough a new disco for towing your new boat? The amount of fishing time saved it is a marina berth all the way for us!
Graham.
I'll still keep the disco for towing Graham, out each year for service etc, and it leaves the options open for trying other grounds
I've been looking for a price for the coppercoat on the net but cant find one.
How much did you pay Graham ?
Thats a very kind offer Martin, but i dont think your lass would be too pleased
Just drop your car keys in a bowl lads. I've heard of your kind of parties
The Coppercoat sounds good for a fresh hull. Mine was painted already so I use Primacon primer on any bare bits and cruiser uno. Three litres are enough for a 21ft boat and lasts at least a season and a half in the RQ marina.

Thanks for that Kev, i was looking at the Cruiser Uno on ebay, gets good reviews as well.... cant get a price for Coppercoat off the net though
I read all the hype on jotun and put jotun seaqueen on "Missy".
Not impressed and won't be using it again.
I really am so supprised at that one as i had it one in H,pool marina and never had any fouling and i have it on now in cardiff marina and no problems.
Did you do it yourself, and was the product in date as when i went to get some once i was given a tin which was out of date and i refused it.
I will check on the price of the coppercoat on our receipt when I get home but it was built in to the boat cost from CTC as that is what we wanted along with the stainless prop etc. We did a full investigation on the coppercoat at the Southampton boat show and due to in being an epoxy and protective coating as well as antifoul plumped for it. The saleswoman was fit as well which helped! If it lasts five years it still worked out cheaper if I remember correctly????
Ring CTC up and they might give you a price for the paint alone and a price for applying it. It's a bugger to apply with multiple coats required!
Hi for my charter boats i used nothing but international self polishing one good coat, how long it lasts depends on growth if you can pull it out and clean when it gets bad will last few seasons, but i found it cheaper to put a diver down with brush rather than pay to lift it
