Wasn\'t sure where to post this ,I was at Amble yesterday afternoon when the lifeboat shot out ,certainly wasn\'t a drill I told my son ,been on the news last night that a diver has been lost and the search continues today ........ makes me feel so sorry for the family of the bloke who\'s lost ,they\'re very experienced lads as well .
I was involved in 2 searches last year for lost divers, tis not a nice thing
Both were found a few days later, so at least there was some sort of closure for the families.
One question has to be asked though, where was his buddy???
Sad news,
My brother is a Diving instructor and very experienced diver,he always says its a great sport/hobby but its very dangerous and even the best get caught out.Lets wait and see before we cast judgement
No matter how experienced you are the sea in ones of its moods can easily take you. Thoughts go out to the famiy, and hopefully the sea will give up her dead.
My cousin is in the coastgaurds and he was out looking yesterday. Still no sign. Apparently the diver had 2 tanks on his back and 2 smaller ones on his front and they think that the weight could be keeping the body down.
It\'s like was mentioned before it\'s terribly sad for the family and without some form of closure must be even more torture.
"And I looked, and behold'a pale horse; and his name that sat on him was death, and hell followed with hi, and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword and with hunger, and with the beasts of the earth"
