        not much to tell really.

        So when id a 4x4 not a 4x4....when its a RAV4 apparently.

its all down to the eejits with jet skis, trailer reversed to waters edge, boat winched on and made fast etc. Whilst this was being done a bunch of tossers are going round and round in circles just a few feet behind the trailer, throwing up waves and sand, which wash against the back of boat and the offending vehicle, 10 mins of this and the wheels are 8inch deep in wet sand, coupled with the incoming tide. Car in gear and away, or rather car in gear not away, stuck in fact,

the diif on the rav splits the power between any 2 from 4 wheels it would appear so we were going nowhere except down. In the finish someone else who was just about to recover their boat, pulled the whole outfit free.

one day soon someone is going to get seriously hurt in cullercoats harbour. One nutter was riding his toy backwards, in tight little circles 10 foot from the shore, if any one got in the way they\'d be minced. there\'s kids in the water sometimes just a few feet away froma quarter of a ton of metal and plastic at high speed. Imagine riding a quad bike backwards at high speed in a school playground, its not massively different

the irony will be that there will be a serious accident and it won\'t be just jetskis that are banned it will be everyone from using the beach

been sorely tempted to hoy big bundls of mono in their path to sea how their water intakes cope

only positive thing I\'ve ever seen from these \'enthusiasts\' is the one last year who gets down on the beach and starts his toy up and spent 1o mins rev the nuts of it.... whilst still nice and dry on its trialer, funnily enought it stalled quite abrubtly and wouldn\'t even turn over after that

I was down there not long ago ,a lad I know was there waiting to see his pals ????? Strange I thought ,then I heard the jetskis coming ,apparently they put them in at Blaydon and fly along to Cullercoats then spin around in the harbour for a bit then back again .....repeat several times ..........TOSSERS
You can take the lad out of Walker but .......

New restrictions are in place at Cullercoats 5mph speed limit within 440 yards of the shore. Sounds like the ones that have been in place since I worked as a lifeguard on Tynemouth Beach. They are supposedly going to be enforced rigorously, ever time i have been passed guess who is ignoring them. Yes the ones they are meant to be for the jet skiers, are they being stopped NO.

apparently they have also limited the number of jetski\'s in the harbour as well - to 20!!!

might as well limit it too 2000 of em

                    Hi Craig,
If you are south of the river you could launch at Sunderland. I think it is 79 quid for the year [no day tickets]. There is a club at Seaham Harbour that meets every month at \"The Marlborough\" on a Thursday night at 7:15. There is a meeting Thursday 17th June. A tenner to join the club and 50 quid a year launch fees for the harbour. The ramp is very steep at the moment but a new one is being laid this year. New car park for the boats and trailers is completed with a much larger one close by just needs the tarmac on. There is also big modifications going on and rumour has it that the old north dock is getting dregded and fitted with lock gates to turn it into a marina. There is good rough ground fishing 2 minutes from the launch ramp and plenty of wrecks from 1 mile plus. Hartlepool marina is 22.50 a launch! There is also a small boat club in Newbiggin I think. Was on the website last year but no details on the meetings. I think they launch from the beach near the lifeboat slip.
                    Hope this helps you.
                    Bill Raine
I didn't go to work today. The voices told me to go fishing!
