    alreet lads, me and a mate are going to give kayaking another shot. being new to this (2nd time out) I was wondering if there are any preferred methods of catching? cheers and any advice is appreciated.

    Just the same as fishing from a boat mate.
    Pirks, shads, bait. A method I often use is a 2 hook setup, including a shad and a baited hook. 4ft trace coming of the sinker with shad attached, 2ft above the sinker tie a dropper of about 6 inches and attach hook, add bait of your choice and your good to go. drop to the bottom and reel in slowly about 10 turns Using this rig, you tend to find out what is working best, and can then change to either bait or shad

        I use the same methods as I did on me boat, just lighter.

          hi m8 honestly ya dont need to travel far after our session on the boat the other day ya dont need to travel 10 miles off the fish are feeding close in shore . the 4 inch shads worked the best on a good lentgh flowing trace reeling in a slow speed then adjust speed till ya hit the fish then go back and hit them again but am new and nah nowt
