  • Boat trip saturday???

Booked out on a boat on saturday but the wind forecast is 16mph west with gusts of 30mph. Is it worth going? Ive found that when it windy, all i seem to do is loose gear. What u lads think???

Light winds forecast early on, but increasing as the day wears on. If you do go, try casting in the direction where the boat is drifting too, and once past that point, and your line is starting to stream away from you, reel in and keep repeating that process. Much more chance of fish and less fast holds, Good luck.

If tomorrow is going to be anything like today, personally I think you'll be wasting your time unless of course you like drifting at warp speed, Then on the other hand They say there's never two days the same except this year seems to be the exception to that rule and finally there's Mr Sod and his law. We were planning to be out tomorrow but have decided against it.
