forgot to ask, did anyone else in Nesa do the the 4 training certificates for boats ???
I did the training courses I did 3 at Northshields and 1 at Amble I saw a few lads I knew on the courses I was just wondering if any of Nesa took the opertunity while it was free???

neither did I it was one of the trawlermen that told me about it something to do with EEC ruling..its 4 certificates that people who have boats are going to need to have. You do Basic. Fire. First Aid. safety and awareness and sea survival. I would imagine the JFK lads will all hold these 4 cetificates.It was run by Seafish the European community for the fisheries guidance.. Anyhow I did it while the going was good..even got in the swimming pool with the trawlermen..lol.lol now THAT was a laugh. trying to get in a liferaft ...lol.lol

I believe that if you have a boat you need to have those certificates I mentioned seemingly it has been in for the last 10-17 years but Britain has never bothered to inforce it, but now the EEC are asking for it to be taken a bit more seriously...dont take that as gospel.
