  • Tohatsu 70hp 2 stroke. Any good!

    I was considering buying a Reiver boat with a 70 2 stroke.

I really wanted 4 stroke engine but the chap in Ardwell says the Tohatsu 70 is reliable, cheap to run and easier to service or fix...

    Any opinions?

We have had three tohatsu's. A 9.9 two stroke, a 15hp four stroke and a 50hp two stroke. Never had so much as a hiccup with any of them, great engines.
They were originally commercial engines used by fisherman.

Cheers, they seem to get good reviews.
