    Thats really strange cliff how around our same shores it can be so different ...... like I say in the season end of May till sept/oct there are so many mackerel they are treated as pests after you`ve gathered the first few for bait.

      Those that know better than I, tell me it is all due to the water temperature and plancton not liking the slightly warmer temperatures that now dominate the South end of the North Sea. The food chain has been interupted? This is suposed to be why we dont get the double figure Cod any more . . . ; got nothing to do with over fishing and taking imature stock!!!!
