Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good honest and reliable "mobile" outboard engine mechanic who would be able to have a look at my engine on my boat. The boat in moored in the Royal Quays marina, and I am unable to take the engine off the boat whilst it is moored.
The problem I have with it is : it is fine for a while, then all of a sudden the revs will "die" as if it is not getting fuel properly, then it will pick up and run fine again for a while until the same thing happens again. The engine does not cut out, and I am not a mechanic, but it seems like carb' problems.
If anyone can put me in touch with any suitable person who might be able to help (I'm willing to pay of course) then I would be most grateful.
