Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

Well after a bit of internet surfing i found a good supplier of glow sticks\"chemical lights\" that you snap
These are about 7-8 inches long and about 6mm thick !
                Ordered 100 green- 100 mixed-and 100 tri-colour
Yesterday was the big tri-out-day and they are great and work really well ! 3 of us out a total boat catch of 25 cod 3 ling and 2 pollock !!
and my contribution was 13 cod 3 ling and 2 pollock so it speaks for its self ....
Just taped one to my pirk and BINGO !!
It might be me being a lucky bugger but What do you`s think ???
Is anyone else giving them a try ? I think its still early for the pirks anyway so anything that gives you an edge over the rest of the crew must be a bonus

suppose you could also make a cavity in a 7\" grub and insert a few smaller glow sticks! Got to give you an edge if there is any colour in the water.

Might try that out of Hartlepool in a couple of weeks.

Only joking, as you say results speak for themselves!!

                            Hej
Chemical light works for sure. I haven\'t tried the glowsticks, but I use the military kind of fabrics that are jused for roadsigns in the dark. I tape it around my bar-pirks. I also use the glow-in-the-dark tubing on some rigs when the fishing is at very deep depths.
There is one more advantage with it ...you can track your lost tackle with a geiger-meter
                            cheers / Fisho
