  • Foggy Kayaking Blyth 270512

8 launched into heavy fog this morning off Blyth. The wind was stronger than forcast and the sun refused to come out. We fished a couple of marks off Blyth. Fishing was slow species included a few pollock cod poor cod wrasse and a plaice.

Split into 2 groups but met out at the marks. Everyone/most have GPS and Radio
so safe enough. Still a bit unnerving when you here a boat approach.

paddle far off shore today as it looks you were on a bit of hard ground by the fish you had.
              Well done.

It was nice to see yous out. We had already spoke to a dive boat who appeared concerned about how we we going to get back due to the conditions.
