Outboard Repairs?

Just a quick one if anyone can reccomed anyone that repairs outboards close to Royal Quays/ Newcastle area other than the main dealers ( storrars powerhouse etc). The main engine is still being done by CTC as its under warranty but our aux has developed a problem and wont start! Micky thinks it is the gasket between the fuel line and carb as it is leaking but we would rather have someone that knows what they are doing have a look at it.

Don't know if it is close enough for you but frank who works at sunderland marina repairs and services outboards, he looks after my aux as like you the main engine is under warranty with ctc!! Just ring the marina and ask for him if you can't get sorted closer to home.

Yeah, i agree with Dave, Frankie looked after my engines for years and if its just an aux outboard you can stick it in the boot and take it down, tell him Chris who had The Jester recommended him.....
