  • In search of smoothies SW scotland KAYAK

Due a consistent North or North Easterly seas which are more suited to the surfers Dad and i decided on a incursion on SW scotland in search of Smooth hounds!!!!!

4.30am Early start to catch the tide on the water 3.5 hours later. Conditions perfect sun out and relatively calm seas. (apart from a squall near the end of the session).

No smoothies or anything else baring a Dab to save the day.

On a positive note it give me a chance to try the new camera out and the different functions.

Heres a few of the photos.......

    Saves the day

I've said it before but I think I hate you

I've come soooooo close to pulling the trigger on a kayak but I just haven't the time to use one

Good job I can live vicariously through posters such as your good self...

Thanks for sharing, and better luck next trip round.

Could do with 8 days in the week.....

Just got the Olympus TG 820 which im still getting used to. Had been using the Olympus 790sw tough but although it takes a good photo the sharpness isnt the same.

The TG 820 is a great bit of kit.

                  No kidding.

I got rid of all my climbing gear due to lack of time (not to mention that I might be daft enough but I'm no longer young enough ), I don't go shooting as often as I'd like, my mountain bike is embarrassingly clean....

Everything you want to do requires you to give something up and I just don't see me having the time. Sad, but true, and perhaps I am getting wiser as I get older (barely noticeable most days I reckon) because in years past I'd have gone out and bought the whole lot anyway...

I'm still jealous as hell every time I see your posts though.

Great pics but some have gone astray and good scenery too but never mind that as you went for smoothies and saved your day with a dab and you did/nt blank so well done to you and better luck next time round okay.

Pleased with the camera Arthur but it still doesnt improve the old mans looks. Im trying to learn how to use video editing to improve the content of the vids.
