  • Another 2 weeks of this crap weather.

I have been in chartering for a lot of years now and never know weather like this drag on for so long it did look like there as a light at the end of the tunnel next week but that looks out of the window now sea -otter is booked every day now and there is a lot of disapointed lads a complete contrast to last spring GFS pressure charts are fairly good have a look its northeast after northeast and even snow.

GFS model forecast - mslp- cloudiness - precipitation - North Atlantic and Europe

    paul.

Luckily no weatherman can forecast two weeks ahead. They struggly with tomorrow!!
I rather believe a farmer or a seaman than the BBC or metoffice.

Most accurate I find buoyweather and they do not bother with more than 5 days.

Only needs a butterfly effect and you might have the best ever season!

As i said on other threads they have predicted one of the windiest summers on record this year due to the air steams around the UK, i fear alot of us will be looking at 2010/11 catch reports for large chucks of this year.

2011 from season start to 1st of May Stingray trips 11, fish 178
2012 from season start to 1st of May Stingray trips 3, fish 16

              paul.
people laughed about global warming a few years back and its not going to get any better when you look at amount of pollution around the world. As you say paul most the regular charter boats are well booked with skippers not making a living and they still have bills to pay
fingers crossed it sorts its self out soon

Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.
