Another cracking halibut today caught aboard richard copes mistress one hell of a fish it went 56lb just 12oz short of the whitby record which was busted last year it fell to squid a fish of a lifetime.

I had my fingers crossed it was marks or lynnes thats y I asked, shame it wasnt for all the effort theyve put in, I hope they caught something at least
No reason why we dont catch more, in Norway they are on the increase and they take pirks, shads, dead baits..i am sure a few more will turn up in our area...not heard of any from the Tyne yet.
