magnificent creature, not sure whether they where trying to chop it into steaks before they got it onto the boat though.

awesome fish but not sure if a could kill something as majestic as that though might feel better t see it swim away rather than see it hanging from a gantry

I feel the same on this one,to me it reminds me of seeing old pictures of colonial shooting parties on safaris,standing with one foot on an big elephant or rhino.In my opinion a creature of that size should be free to live its life until a natural conclusion.Personally I couldn't kill it,but each to their own eh!!

Nice fish the spot i am going to in July has had a 178lber caught of late with laods in the 10-40lb mark...i wont be targeting them but would be over the moon to get one over 5lb

It is a shame to kill it if it wotn be used but i am told it is a great eaten fish even at that size the flesh is nice.
