kevin taits mv kailee(details on charter boats uk) took a ling of approx 50lb,yesterday on one of his charters plus some other canny fish.

whats interesting is that thay have sent some of the bone away to a marine/scientific lab to see if the fish can have an age put on it

Always thought it would be interesting to find out the age of the fish we catch! I wonder how long that 90lb cod recently caught in Norway had been knocking about??

Not a fish, but I remember on one of those newish bbc documentaries recently they found a harpoon head in a Bowhead Whale that they dated as being 200 years old!!
