Great stuff, amazing how the fish are at the bait within seconds of the gear hitting the bottom.
      Cheers, Keith.

You know I never had a bite on the camera rod !! So reeled it up and put camera away ,it wasn't till I got home and checked the footage ! Wow well pleased 👍👍
I think if we had worm baits the catch rate would have improved ! We still got a fry tho
        Thanks for looking

Fascinating video Bert, it just goes to show that we never know what is going on down there even when it appears fishless.
Water clarity was excellent at StMary’s yesterday, I lowered my camera over the side…. into a snag. There’s another one gone.

Was only on the "flatty beds" off the north pier the water depth was about 50 foot ,I know everyone is hell bent on filling the boat with cod and ling ! But this is the most relaxing way to spend the day fishing and is my favourite
And you never know what will turn up we have had plaice dabs brill turbot lots of weevers gurnards cod doggies herring makerel sand eels ... The species range can go on and on as the river mouth is a rich source of food supply to everything that swims past
And if your sitting at anchor in the middle of it WHO KNOWS !
                    Cheers for reading bert
