  • Rnli sea safety check

i had the sea safety check by the RNLI on the boat today, exelent free service and advice by the life boat sea safety officer, no pass or fail scenario just good advice regarding safety equipment and it's use onboard your boat

it took about an hour and a half, i'd recomend having this done before the season starts

it's available to book through the RNLI web site

SEA Check - the RNLI can help make your boat as safe as possible

I agree Rob, you think the boat is sorted safety wise, but these guys come along and point out some crucial things you've overlooked, well worth the time spent.....

no, not really, the boat and equipment is well maintained anyway, he mentioned using a safety harness when up on the front messing with your anchor if you're in a rough sea, but i doubt we'll be out when it's rough...we're to much of fair weather fishermen, sunshine and deck chairs..

and the biggie.....wearing life jackets, not just having them onboard
