    Hi, has anyone used spider-line salt water fusion 80lb braid ? i have chance to buy some (300yds £12-00) and put on my senator 114h 6/0 reel, coupled with a 7ft all roller 30 - 40lbs class rod would this be a resonable set up for the wrecking out of hartlepool + whitby; any info please.
    thanks finn;

    I hade some spider wire braid last year and hated it. I found it not very supple so was a real pig to get it to lay flat on the reel. The outer sheaf seemed to damage really easily exposing the inner. But for 12 quid give it a go

      Have used exactly the same myself without any problems. Would advise the use of a shockleader, (around 15-20ft) as I think Marks quite right....it\'s not very abrasive resistant.

      I use Spiderwire Stealth Braid (60lb) which is excellent.

      Thanks,
      Jeff.

          I use Dynon 3000 but do not use a leader as Its too much faff on when your in the thick of it ! Thats just a personal preference like as a lot of lads have leaders .
