canny day on JFK

with the winds dropping and sea state good me and half a dozen other anglers got a call from mr skinner, the first wreck produced nothing even though there was plenty showing on the sounder.the next wreck was the same so moved further off to the third and BINGO a few rods straight in with cod to 4lb, each drift was taking 2 or 3 cod and the odd pollack.after about half an hour the fish stopped feeding so off to pastures new where we picked up more cod and ling to 6lb.about 25 fish aboard with every angler taking 3 or 4 fish so nobody blanked, all in all not a bad day for this time of year.
