see on the news N.Tyneside council are to enforce the speed limit and limit the number or jetskis allowed in the water at cullercoats. Not before time. Suprised the dickheads haven\'t killed anyone yet.

apparentlly they are gonna use ASBO\'s, which means they can confiscate the offending \'vehicle\'

hope they do follow it up, its a nightmare trying to launch/retrieve down there

As soon as i seen the words jetski and ban in the same thread i had a smile on my face and had to open the thread. Liek you said Mark \"about time\" dangerous very dangerous. Had some close shaves from the boat and shore wtih them wizzing around not thinking about anything but how high they can jump out the water.

Most of them are a bunch of arrogant pri#ks who have no respect for others that use the beaches/lakes.Personally it looks like the most boring hobby I\'ve ever seen,probably a great buzz the first time you go out on one then I think it will be a load of Bollo#ks.

I seen the report on the TV Mark and was more than pleased to hear the news.
However....later on in the report, it said that N.Tyneside were going to limit the numbers of jetskis in the water at any one time......to TWENTY !!

Imagine 20 of them wizzing around blindly in Cullercoats harbour .

Seems to me that it\'s a bit of a stunt to quiet those with concerns over these sensless machines. I doubt if any action will be taken against any \"offenders\"

Tony nowt wrong with 20 in one area - ever seen the dodgems at the fair at shields on a good friday when all the pi$$ tanks think there a good driver - and all they do is one by one take one another out the game -theres your answer 20 small wrecks for us to fish from at Cullercoats Harbour .

20! \'kin hell. the most I\'ve ever seemt here on one day is maybe 10 and that was 10 too many.

So I doubt the speed restrictions gonna get enforced either then.

maybe when there are 20 showing their understanding of Ptolemy\'s more advanced theories of the universe (going round in circles) and they slice the top off some fat chav\'s head they might have a rethink. Least the lifeboat is close to hand, but then again they will have closed that one by the time the accident happens
