I thought it was amazing to see the skills and knowledge that this fella has restoring the life boat.

He is based in South Shields wonder if he would mind if I popped over an had a look?

Yes he certainly is a top bloke at what he does ! A shame I couldn't say the same about his jokes Ha ha !
I've known Fred for a Long time and he is the last original boat builder on the tyne and when he retires there ain't anyone to step in his shoes with the knowledge of how it used to be done on wooden boats !
The Vids are class and can't wait to see the finished boat . Keep up the good work Fred
