I used Farecla G3 compound, have a look on Ebay, needs to be used with water if using a rotary buffer and then 3 coats of Autoglym Polish it will shine like a sh!thouse door

Try cif cream cleaner to wash the hull , get the white one not the lemon one (seriously ) the lemon one doesn't seem to work as well , it's brilliant for the cockpit floor as well , squirt some around on the floor, dip a nylon scrubbing brush in a bucket of hot water and scrub it in then hose it off.
On the hull below the waterline use one of those nylon household sponges and rub the cif over the stains and then wash off , it's seriously good stuff , you can get a similar product from tesco in their own brand which is cheaper

          Bar Cleaners Friend

'Bar Keepers Friend' is an easily obtainable cleaner which literally cleans anything and everything.

One of the main ingredients is oxalic acid which is sold as a dilutable powder on E Bay specifically for cleaning GRP hulls and decks and it works wonders.

So you can either buy and try 'Bar Keepers Friend' at about £3.50 for a small tub or buy Oxalic acid on E bay for about £2 for a large bag (dilutable), it appears to be all the same.

I've just given my own boat an end of season clean with both and it's gleaming !!!

I would always recommend a new coat of good wax after cleaning to restore any lost shine and add protection.

          cheers.........Mick

Hello Growler, Is the hull anti-fouled? if not try oxalic acid. Did a good job on a catamaran I got from Dubai and it had a good crust on both sponsons, left in the sun and matured, took two wipes and looked like new. (wear gloves)
