You changed the PW already? Just too late as usual, I guess.

To my mind a more important reason to keep amongst a group of people who genuinely know it each other as I suspect at some point there will be a few red herrings posted!
I\'ve got quite a few on the west coast of scotland I though about posting, thought that might be of interest to any one having an away day with something on a trailer

Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.

Put your pencil away Alan , you dont need it .I dont know what all the great mystery is about wrecks , look on any electronic chart and 99% are on there . Follow the \"Rolling road\" and it will take you RIGHT on top of them . The big thing is , which ones are fishing ! Thats the key :P . IMHO , the site is for information to share between like minded people .
Any before there\'s any PC , always take a chart and compass to find ya way back if the plotter packs in .

Just out of interest to you shore lads , there is a WW11 destroyer smashed up just of the blocks on S/Sheilds pier in case you\'ve ever wondered why it\'s so rough there . Another Big wreck lies a third of the way over between the piers entrance which was broken up by the RN with explosives .

After a ccouple of PM\'s I\'ve broadened the net a bit, so to speak to include the whole UK coastline, had 60 odd posted for elsewhere in the country, so see what happens
the document I have from UKHO is 74 pages long and has nearly 3000 sets of co-ords on it so I\'ll dump them in as well.
I understand the reluctance, to share info, so I suppose you don\'t have to take part. I\'m going to alter it soon to stop leechers, so folks will only get access to whats in already by contributing something themselves. Seems only fair is there is an issue of sharing info

absolutely, getting the marks isn\'t difficult, it knowing where its happenning that counts
interstingly, the UKHO stuff I\'ve got includes a load of survey data done for MAFF (as was) and includes a lot of waypoints that aren\'t wrecks, so might be interesting to see what they are, tried tracing a few on the charts and just looks like clear sea bed???ʎɐqǝ uo pɹɐoqʎǝʞ ɐ ʎnq ı ǝɯıʇ ʇsɐן ǝɥʇ sı sıɥʇ.

I missed out on the preview because of working away for two weeks. There are loads of sites on the internet that give the numbers freely. Just look at the top 100 wreck sites in the diversnet site. I only have a slow 15 footer [8 knots max with a following wind] and only can fish within about 1 mile or so of the shore. the shallow water wrecks are good fun sometimes. Like most wrecks sometime the fish are there, sometimes not. some of the Maff numbers are \"fasteners\" that could be a boiler or container or something like that lost overboard. with 1000+ wrecks you can only fish them one at a time. I dont mind putting my numbers into the database for people to try. having compared a few with other boat anglers we all seem to have slightly different numbers for the same wreck or reef or hole. Probably the slight differences between kit. I use a lowrance LMS320 GPS/ plotter/sounder. there will always be the unscrupulous people around but these are the ones that net the wrecks off so you cannot get over them. I think the DB is a good idea if it is open to members who have a boat. We can all keep the knowledge of which ones are fishing close to the chest.

I didn't go to work today. The voices told me to go fishing!
