Hi everyone, we are thinking of booking a wrecking trip for 12 persons out of hartlepool first week in APRIL weather permitting !! what are your thoughts on this. is it still to early or should we be ok ? and could anyone tell me what sort of tide to expect for SAT the 2nd; (with regard to the wrecking situation) any advice will be really appreciated for any aspect of my posting;
many thanks finn;
April should be ok - as long as we have some settled weather to help keep the water clear.
We went out on Chieftain out of Whitby last April wrecking and caught. Well, I almost didn\'t, but managed in the end
Who you thinking of booking with ?
Tide wise you should be ok - it\'s only a smallish one om 2nd April.
Viewing over my boat records on board Dolly from 2004, we wnt fishing four times in april and caught codling,whiting,pouting,colie and 1 ling. Not in great numbers but there there, as Ken stated its all down to getting a good spell of settled weather.
