First trip of the season?

Well is this the start of some settled weather. With light winds and calm seas forecast, looks like a chance to finally get back out. Getting boat washed and polished this weekend and a couple of bits to do, ready for our first trip out on Monday. Hopefully a catch report to follow. Good luck to everyone this season, hope it ends up a good one.

First Trip

Well is this the start of some settled weather. With light winds and calm seas forecast, looks like a chance to finally get back out. The RQ boats are marina-bound until this week's annual lock maintenance is completed. Watching tonight's weather forecast was encouraging with a high pressure system promising settled conditions right the way up to Easter.
Like many others, I'll just have to bide my time; making the most of the warm spell to service the engine and polish the boat ready for next weekend.
