the fathom only just took the 300 yards of the power pro so much heavier I may have problems getting enough on the reel to get to the bottom

really wanting something heavier I think will be using some jiggers upto 14oz and weights upto 12oz

I went for the 15-35lb 7ft rod first and found it a bit "bouncy" so changed to the 8ft 20-40lb which feels great.

where did you get it from keith is there a shop in the north east and is it suitable for both heavy jigging and shadding please

you will find that 100 metres is enough simon,to be on the safe side i put 150 on for the northeast coast
