Very informative thread this to be honest , I have wondered what other lads wear on their feet on the boat , I wear the same pair of shoes every time I go out on the boat , not because they are the most suitable or comfortable , but because the first time I wore them I had a good day ... no , not the superstition either , it's just that they got absolutely caked in cod crap and blood and were totally ruined for any other use , so now they are fishing shoes

sid try the neoprene welly,s by hot foot.
they are tuff as and warm as toast.
they are not the ones with the thick soles they have a welly type grip about 30 odd quid.
