First boat I ever ventured on was skippered by a Colin Roll boat was called The Petuchi (not spelt correctly) out of the Tyne, his crew was a great lad (deaf) always making tea handing out biscuits always getting the P*ss taking out of him by the skipper.Always came off that boat with a smile fish or no fish.

i was interested in the name of another boat that used to do realy well although i wanted to talk about wrecking boats i thought this one the nobles should have a special mention as he did exceptionaly well years on on the hard ground you had to book well well in advance to get on his boat proving he was that good. johndid you know panel pins comes in diff sizes ?

at that time i beleive he was cox of the amble lifeboat and i beleieve he is now the launch master for the amble life boat
