Tip ring for Fladen solid carbon boat rod ?

Hi all, had my braid snap unexpectedly a couple of times on the last trip out and after the second time I noticed my tip ring had a chip out of it with a sharp edge snapping the braid easily.

Any ideas where I could find a tip ring for my fladen solid carbon (green one),
the tip off the rod is very thin so not sure what size ?

Call at the Friarage, Martin, take the rod with you i'm sure he'll change it for you, only takes a couple of minutes..

Think the friarage changed hands lately Chris, it's a second hand shop out the front and sells some tackle in the back room.
Any idea if the new owner does stuff like tip rings ?

Got mine fitted at local tackle shop, didn't cost a fiver.

Most tackle shops stock tip rings of all sizes, but i didnt realise the Friarage was a second hand shop as well. What about coast road tackle at Horden, is that too far from you...

I pass coast road tackle quite a bit so will try their, if not friarage might still do them.

No probs Martin, hope you get sorted, Try a Diamite tip ring they have no ceramic on them so wont chip, we use them on the uptide rods.
