you might be right there its now saying 15s.nowt worse than strong wind and cant hold bottom .i have had quite few boats and always found that had the best catches wen seas flat calm and wen has been windy and fast drift havent done anything.love the wrecks thats where i got all the biggest fish.

i find it the opposite when there is a nice tide running and a bit wind the it seems to fish better of the wrecks drifting at around 1.4knts

1.4 tooooo faaaaast for us kingcod,about .5 fine and dandy for 12 rods aal in the watter at the same time.but faster drift can mean mair fash,also means the "tangle o the isles"
