            I think they were just small ones and were full of launce - I've got launce lures but definately can't do 9 knots!

                They are skipjack tuna and are being taken in the gill nets, some as close as half a mile offshore. One was taken this morning at Amble. They are not big fish, on average two to two and a half kilos. There are reports of them from Amble to Whitby.
