My mate Eddy and I headed down to Sunderland Marina for a trip out on the Delta Barbra a 40 ft fantastic boat which belongs to a friend.
We got there for around 8 o'clock and the weather was not to bad and the sea was not looking bad either, so we got our gear on board there were 7 of us on board and we where all keen to get out there, making our weapons of choice ready for what the day ahead had in store for us, my choice was Hokkies and shads the others had day glows and rag worm.
So out of the piers to the right we headed to a wreck close inshore. drifted over the wreck a few times and bang one of the lads was into a 10lb Cod and things were quiet so headed further south picking up smaller fish here and there, so the skipper headed about four miles out and the drifted more wrecks, the same lad got a 9lb cod and his mate was into a 7lb one.
Well the wind was telling us to head back nearer to shore picking up the odd few fish here and there.
This was my catch on the day, thanks to Paul and all on-board i had a nice day out.
