That time of year again, I've got International Micron Extra antifoul, Mc Duff anodes and 1 litre of Autoglym Resin Polish, what makes do you lads use. So thats my weekend sorted.

The prop anode has gone as expected but the hull was only slimey so not too bad.

I use the autoglym polish too and finish it off with the autoglym resin stuff. I’m waiting to see what the old anodes and last years coat of antifoul look like before I think about a lift-out. Anodes are mg duff and the AF was Crusier Uno, wetsuit at the ready for a calm day and underwater inspection.

LOL, you had me for a minute there Norm, i was thinking "Cabin Boy", never heard of that polish , I bought a variable speed electric polisher and some G3 to take the arm work out of the job, Tony can lend it next time Slinky comes out of the water to give the lads arms a break..

Yeah Arthur, i'd been watching the weather and thought i might as well get it done while the wind is up, it can't stay strong for much longer...can it....

Kev, have you tried cleaning the hull while using the wet suit, i've often thought if it was possible, but when i asked at the marina i was told i was'nt allowed in the water within the marina..

Be careful with that electric polisher using it when the boat is in the water

Boat looks nice and clean now , I think mine might be dirtier than that

I think mine must have gone to a different sea school to yours. Mine just cost a lot of pocket money, pester to take the helm all the time, then usually catch more than me too. They’ve even found my secret stash of emergency choc' biscuits.

BTW I’ve not tried jumping in to clean the hull while it’s still in the water. I’ll wait for a calm day and anchor up near the beach before having a go.

Axe, PMSL , no but polishing that car park would make them ache..

Kev, Tel's a goodun, he makes cracking coffee and sarnies and brings chocolate bikkies with him, there's not many places on a boat to hide the chocolate biscuits, try keeping them in you pockets...

Well, after 7 hours of cutting the gel coat and and polishing the whole boat, it's finally done. What a difference a shiney boat makes, i feel over the moon the way turned out.
