Greetings fellow anglers. I am new to forum and boat fishing. Quick question, I need to get into what the best conditions are. This Saturday is west wind with 3 ft swell, would yoU all happily go out in these conditions? Hope to contribute to forum in future (will try not to ask any more dumb questions) cheers!
Hi welcome onboard. west wind is good, the thing is what size boat you go out in small boats cant always get out when big ones can.

welcome to the site dumb questions no problem, but please be aware,i am the current holder of the "dumbest question" cup enjoy the site and dont forget the reports
3rd day in a row called off due to wind and just looked at the weather from now until Sat morning its gale force west south west..come on give us a break after teasing us with a nice April.
One thing i have noticed this year..when the weather says 10mph winds gusting upto 30mpe for example..just read that as blowing 30mph all the time and forget about the 10mph bit.
Friday is next day to head out but so far its 33mph sw wind...flatish sea but pointless drift.
XC Weather has been right for the last few weeks (years?)
It's got the wind dropping off and swinging round to the south by friday/sat
...fingers crossed
Ooh a new vid!

It was wrong on Sat thats for sure, if that was 12mph wsw wind then today must be 200mph
Same as every year look at the window in the morning and go or dont go, every site total guess work.
Fingers crossed that at 6am the wind is light and the weather is anything but thunder storms and i be out there all day doing my fav wreck route...should fill in 11 hours of travel and fishing.
