    Very sad to see that. had some cracking nights on there as a young lad.

    What a shame.

                tow it to skinny and sink it in about 70ft of water, out of the shipping lane......it would make a great fish house......for us to raid during the season and if you snag up on it, who knows what you'll bring up......blob machines, nice red velvet stools, disco balls...etc...

                    fond memories of that on the tyne...first time a doorman physically threw me out of anywhere was on there

                    shame to see it sunk there and not 10 mile out tho

                      Great memories there and yes its a shame there not towing it out to sea to be wrecked. I know I've been wrecked in there many a time!

                          According to BBC Look North's report on yesterdays news nobody dose own it so why not tow it out and sink the dam thing always thought it was an eye sore when it was on the Tyne

                            Didn't see you Alan, it was that hill up from the fish quay to Bill's tackle that did the damage, it's a cliff not a hill.
