    cracking pile John, i hope we get to wet them as the forecast has changed again and doesnt look very promising for friday at the minute so we will just have to wait and see mate., but they look very good.

          Richy will be along in a minute telling you that pile would last him nearly two drifts , you can't have too much lead ditto the bigger trebles 4/0's maybe?

            theres never enough lead trebles,minimum of 6/0 for me although some 4/0 seem as big as some 6/0 if that makes any sense

                  Been working on getting through the lead I bought with some new moulds. I got hold of the Norway style pirk and managed to knock up some weights.

                  Took a while to get it sorted as I was having problems with the loops showing after the pour. I made a couple of changes and rather than heating up the mould with a blowtourch I just made a few moulds and stuck them back in the pot. I alsoused a pair of pliers to close the end slightly and some play-dough to secure the loops in place which works.. ok



                  Up to about 80 and I've used just over half the lead (at a guess)
